From the author
“I made this book for my daughter, who is growing up far from Punjab. I wrote every word with its sound and meaning, so any grown-up at home can read along with her. Soon, we were all learning Gurmukhi together. I hope it brings Punjabi into your home, too.”
ਅਮਨ ਖੋਸਾ · Aman Khosa
Aman Khosa is the pen name of Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, a native Punjabi speaker. While teaching her daughter Punjabi in a mixed-language home far from Punjab, she put together this book series, bringing back the Gurmukhi, Punjabi sounds, counting and desi months she grew up with.
